Despite the lo ses by Oregon and UCLA on Saturday, not everyone had given up on the Pac-12 getting a team into the College Football Playoff.Three of the 11 respected experts we cited who posted bowl projections this week predict that USC will be one of the four teams in CFP national championship.The once-beaten Trojans are No. 7 in this week's CFP rankings, and they are behind No. 6 LSU, which has lost twice, so that is not a good sign for USC. But if USC wins its remaining games against UCLA this week, Notre Dame the following week and a ranked opponent in the Pac-12 championship game, it might climb into the top four.Erick Smith of USA Today had Oregon in a national semifinal game against Ohio State early Tuesday morning. But that proved to be a an error by USA Today, which mistakenly listed Smith's projections from Brandon Brooks Jersey a week ago before correcting it later Tuesday. Clemson, not Oregon, was the fourth CFP qualifier, according to the corrected USA Today projections.There is a lot of variation on postseason destinations of Pac-12 teams.
